
Hand grips are provided to support people standing in the buses and are placed hanging from the bar parallel to roof of the bus. Hand grip moves relative to the bar on which it hangs so person holding on to it feels the jerks and also chances are that the person looses balance. The hand-grip is made of hard material; it hits people standing in the bus on the head, swaying in the moving bus.

People standing in public transport buses due to crowding are a common sight. The buses have hand grips for people for a comfortable and firm stand. The hand-grips though are a very useful also causes lot of inconvenience for passengers.
Firstly as the handgrips hang from the rods parallel to roof, tend to move relative to the motions and jerks of the bus. Person holding the handgrip definitely feels these jerks and can even loose balance.
Secondly, The grip does surely swing in air and hit the standing people as the bus moves along. The material of which the handgrips are made is hard, making the swaying handgrips cause of much pain for the travelers.
