Mapping mismatch between signage and the actual position of the user when viewed from the lobby. The problem arises when the relative directions of user and the signage are conflicting. The signage is designed for user standing in the building and facing outside rather than considering the actual scenario where user enters from outside and faces the signage.

Location: Vanenburg IT Park, Hyderabad, India
The Mapping mismatch between signage and the actual position of the user when viewed from the ground floor entry lounge. Especially for the first timers, the right block when viewed from the lobby says “L” wing and vice versa. Whenever a new visitor walks in the lobby and refer to the signages, to his Right are the list of companies in "Left" wing of each floor. It confuses the user going by own sense of direction and finds signage confusing. This confusion gets high as these wings on each floor are placed diagonally. The signage can be enhanced with a floor-plan on the ground floor and clearly demarcated wings on each floor.
