Scooter, Rickshaw Brakes Thumbnail

Due to the position and type of working, applying brakes in scooters and auto-rickshaws puts extra pressure and strain on toes of the driver. There is no way these brakes can be used without straining the toe.

Scooter Rickshow Brakes

Position and working of the brakes is such that the toe is in a strained position till the brakes are applied. The central support is sometime used for the heel with an oblique toe position which is just a user’s adaptation of the existing design than a user centric approach. Due to the continuous strain position the user gets more tired by the time he completes his travel especially in long journeys. This design problem has gone unnoticed and is not solved for a very long time but recent vehicles come up with better solution.
