Which one to open?

In a Honda City the knob for opening the petrol tank and the tail gate is given just beside the drivers seat..jpg "Bad Designs")
This design seems convenient , but the driver always has to open the door and check which knob to handle.This is very inconvenient;either the knobss should be provided at different places or a proper indication which is noticeable should be given..jpg "Bad Designs")
