Canon is one of the best known camera makers. This particular camera, no wonder is good but has a lens cap with out any string that holds it to the camera.
Any product or object, that has too many parts to deal with, is likely to get lost if not kept carefully together or not used frequently. In this camera the lens cap is not attached to the camera through a string or by any other means.
If a person is shooting which is a very absorbing activity, he may forget to keep the lens cap back on the camera every time. This makes the lens cap vulnerable to be lost by a photography enthusiast.
