The currency notes are too confusing if one goes only by their size and color, which form the criteria for choosing a currency note for payment. One has to recheck every time he or she has to make some payment. Checking has to be more careful while counting a bundle of notes or a big amount.

We have only few currency notes available but still they are so confusing at times. For e.g. Rs.100 and Rs.500 which are almost similar in color and width. Also Rs.1000 and Rs.20 are similar in color, they can be confusing in less light conditions and also if they are folded.

Most of the time people try to identify a currency note by its color, but using similar colors for different currency notes can get people in trouble. One can have different colors for different currency notes as it is already having a similar kind of text and visuals to maintain the consistency of national currency.
