Even today, street lighting is done with conventional bulbs from the past. They are less efficient compared to fluorescent lighting, even less compared to compact fluorescent lamps.
Bad Designs
Use of obsolete technology burdens the growing country like India. We need to use smart lights that control themselves in using up power to produce light by taking advantage of moonlight present at night.
